The Burning Bush Rat of Motivation

At Cup Club, a lecture series on communication design at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, my colleague Julia Bernhard and I gave a talk titled “The Burning Bush Rat of Motivation” (see picture). We talked about working as illustrators, the sense and nonsense of book illustration, networking, and our tragic backstory. We also shared how we motivated each other during our master's theses. As is tradition, we enjoyed drinks of our choice in our own mugs.
