About
Eva Feuchter is a multidisciplinary illustrator and visual artist based in Leipzig, Germany. Her work is based at the intersection of art and design. She also runs a Graphic Recording business.
Eva studied Visual Communication at the University of Art and Design BURG Halle and later went on to get a Master’s Degree with a focus on writing and illlustration from the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. Her final project was awarded the Rheinland Pfalz Design Prize and published under the name Şimdi heißt jetzt at Slanted Publishers.
Growing up in rural Bavaria as a highly sensitive person, she spent a lot of time on walks in the forest and found her joy in drawing, writing and reading. Reccurring themes in her work are the subconscious, magic, nature and the dark feminine. She transfers her symbolic illustrations onto natural materials in order to create objects for modern rituals.

“Eva Feuchter’s work moves within a dark, psychologically and spiritually influenced cosmos. Themes such as the unconscious, trauma, and unease are central elements of her illustrations, which simultaneously fascinate and challenge. From organic forms, like snails and human organs, to elaborate wall hangings: her art becomes a kind of psychological journey — a path to greater self-acceptance and pride.”
